A NiCrBSiFebased filler alloy powder has been synthesized by mechanical alloying technique in a highenergy ball mill to join Inconel 718 (IN 718) by transient liquid phase (TLP) bonding.
The duration of ball milling greatly influences the characteristics of highsiliconaluminum composite during the ball milling process. This study examines how the microstructure, thermal conductivity, and hardness of a highsiliconaluminum composite are affected by different ball milling times.
